About
DANalytics Environmental is an independent environmental data science company based in Carson City, Nevada. We build water quality analytics software for tribal environmental programs, watershed coalitions, conservation districts, municipal utilities, and educators.
What We Build
Our platform is built around a family of modular analytics tools — each named after riparian trees native to the watersheds we serve.
CEDAR — Continuous Environmental Data Analysis and Review. Automated QC workflows for sensor and logger data including spike detection, flatline detection, fouling corrections, and drift corrections.
ALDER — Analytical Lab Data Evaluation and Review. QA workflows for discrete grab samples and lab results including detection limit handling, lab qualifier review, and WQX submission preparation.
BIRCH — Bathymetric Indicators, Reservoir Characterization, and Hydrology. Lake and reservoir analytics including depth profiles, thermocline detection, and stratification visualization.
Project Flow — Student water quality monitoring. Professional-grade tools designed for middle and high school classrooms.
All products share a common data infrastructure — the DANalytics WQ Standard Format — ensuring data flows cleanly from collection through QC to export and regulatory submission.
Background
Prior to founding DANalytics Environmental, Daniel built SAMalytics — a production R Shiny application deployed for the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection for discrete water quality data analysis and WQX submission workflows.
DANalytics Environmental LLC is registered in Nevada.
